An absolute must if you're in or near Ambleside.
The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and there were loads of GF options!! DF too.
The lamb shank was falling off the bone and the gravy was lovely and rich. The tagine was delicious and the choice of dessert!? So many options. I would recommend the saucy lemon pudding if lemon is your thing but I wish I could try them all!
Book ahead recommended on busy nights especially and it seems if you book in advance and give your story you get a mention on the front of the menu?! Seems to also be dog friendly.
