Had a great pork osso and flourless chocolate cake. Delish!
My meal was absolutely delicious. I had the osso buco with cheesy grits and brussel sprouts. The meat was fall off the bone tender and the crispy sweet brussel sprouts with the grits were a nice complement in taste and textures. There are several gluten free options on the menu. There was a nice atmosphere with high ceilings and you could see the distillery operation in a room in the back.
Pork osso bucco was delicious and the drinks were great as well. The waitress seemed to be knowledgeable about gluten sensitivity and answered questions without hesitation
The brunch menu has limited gluten free options, the server seemed to have some knowledge but not a ton of interest in helping us find an option.
The spirits are all gluten-free. About half the menu is gluten-free, or can be adjusted to be made gluten-free. It's good for sensitive folks but anything fried it would not be for celiac. Boudin stuffed quail is to die for. The Cajun slaw is excellent it's large enough for two people to share and still have some to eat with dinner.
I went here because I am Celiac and the reviews on this app made it sound great. This restaurant is NOT Celiac friendly and that was told to me by the waiter. I was told I could have the salads. Hmmm, blue cheese & vinaigrette dressing are not safe choices for Celiac. Needless to say, we left. If I could give zero for stars, I would!
Not only did they have a good gluten free menu but all the spirits are made in their distillery are naturally gluten free as they are made from sugar cane. Needless to say I had a great dinner with my friends. Plus our server was great.
