Went to Lyle’s last night with my non-GF husband after hearing rave reviews about their gluten free pizza. I ordered the spring vegetable pizza on a GF crust. This is my favorite gluten free pizza in town—the GF crust is a thin-crust with a nice, pillowy bite on the bulk of the slice but the crust is nice and crunchy at the top. I have no idea what they’ve done to conjure up a GF crust that doesn’t leave a weird potatoey after taste in my mouth, but I’m eternally grateful.
My gripe, however, is that the menu did not explicitly state that they had a gluten free pizza option. Had my coworker not told me it was there/had I not looked at their online menu, I wouldn’t have know it was a thing. The up charge for GF pizza is also $3, one of the higher up charges I’ve seen for a pizza. That being said, great pizza, great drinks, great little place!
