My celiac partner and I had a WONDERFUL experience here. The prices are good, portions are big, and the food is amazing. For our appetizer we got chicken, mains we had pad thai with shrimp and drunken noodles. The pad thai was delicious and the shrimp was actually fresh. I was so shocked to receive fresh shrimp in my meal. I've never received fresh shrimp in a shrimp pad thai before. The drunken noodles were also amazing, but we ordered maximum spicy and it still wasn't very spicy. The staff was knowledgeable, prepared our food safely, and made sure to use gluten free ingredients. We will definitely be returning.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Excellent

Have eaten twice their food 2-3 times in the last six months or so and no issues. The first time I was weary because the person I spoke to on the phone didn't seem knowledgeable about protocols. But tried it based on the review here. Pretty good Thai food -- very good for the Bangor area. A little expensive for what you get but the drunken noodle is good!

— Good

I cannot say enough good things about Mama Ds. I have been there three times and I ordered the Massaman curry twice and the chicken pad Thai once. Always feel great afterwards and I am a sensitive celiac + dairy free. I do speak with them about precautions every time but haven’t ever had an issue. Their food is so good!
