I had the GF Eggs Benedict and it was exactly what I wanted. I hadn’t had an English muffin in years, so it was great to have again. Most places will charge extra to give you a GF substitution, only to give you inedible toast. Happily this place has figured out how to make a GF English muffin and doesn’t even charge extra!
Gluten free pancakes were delicious (I talked my husband into getting them with his meal so I could try them). I got the GF Benedict and it was pretty tasty too. I didn't have a reaction after, so happy we stopped in for breakfast even though it was a bit pricey.
Came for breakfast wanting the pancakes. The menu had great gluten free options plenty of choice. However, waiter had little to no knowledge regarding celiac and told us that they couldn’t cook the food separately as it’s to much hassle. We left after 5 minutes. Waiter was also a little rude.
DO NOT EAT HERE .... They have no idea what gluten free is. Ordered a gluten free burger (said gluten free option available for that item on the menu). No bun just lettuce cup which was fine but the onion ring in the burger was not. When I pointed it out to the waiter he asked if I was going to take it out or did I want him to!!! Side of teriyaki sauce was also not Gluten free. When I said celiac he looked at me with a blank stare
My husband has the Corn Beef Hash with eggs and I had the Mochi pancake. Our server said cross contamination can certainly happen and there is no guarantee, that they do cook on the same surfaces and pans. I asked if he could please have the chef prepare on clean pan and he agreed. The Corn Beef hash came out and server said the kitchen didn't read him note about the allergy and they needed to remake the Mochi pancake again on clean pan. I was relieved he caught the mistake. My husband didn't have a reaction with either meal option and both tasted pretty good. It wasn't anything over the top super special, but it was decently priced and no reaction, so would try it again when in Waikiki.
They had options for multiple breakfast and lunch items that were gf or had a gf option. The food was delicious, and the servings were fairly big! I had thr Mac Attack with gf mochi pancakes, and gf english muffins that were all delicious and appreciated. I did not get sick after eating here, and the staff was very friendly.
Came here for the Mochi pancakes. They were excellent! Asked server a few questions about toppings and ended up with just blueberries and the vanilla anglaise topping (he graciously went back and forth to kitchen to check with chef). Also got the bacon... no issues
I got the Mac Attach with the Gluten Free Mochi pancakes. That was one of the BEST breakfasts I have ever had!! The pancakes were so light and fluffy and ever had a crispy edge! Good thing we found this place on our last day or I would be 10 pounds heavier coming home!
I had a GF English muffin, turkey bacon and fried egg. I asked, they do use a separate toaster for the muffin--be sure to tell them it's an allergy. Don't bother for lunch or dinner, all they have is a couple salads--breakfast has options (pancakes & oatmeal too). Enjoy!
I am celiac and have a reaction to gluten within 3 hours if I get glutend. I had the GF pancakes with the Elvis topping and had no reaction. The pancakes were great, coffee a little weird, tasted like dishwater sanitizer residue was in it. I will be back and hopefully the coffee will be better next time.
Are there twice in October 2016. First time, waiter fully Coeliac aware, gave me all the confidence needed. Omelette was great, happy as. Next time around, waitress had no idea. What a difference that makes. A bit hesitant but had the pancakes. Fortunately no issues. Menu a bit limited for gf but food was good.
As another review mentioned, the gf omelet was made with just egg whites or egg beaters. I asked the chef if he could make a whole egg omelet and he gladly did! Jet lag had us awake at 3 am and what a treat to have such a safe and delicious breakfast at that hour!
Has extensive (and tasty) gluten free breakfast menu. Pancakes are fantastic! Restaurant also has a good variety of healthy choices that are gluten free. The staff was extremely helpful. Items are made to order so they are willing to make adjustments to your order for dietary needs. One of my favorite spots in Waikiki (for gluten free)!
Mac 24/7 has three gluten free items on the breakfast menu if you don't count fruit etc. They have an eggs Benedict but it has salsa not Hollandaise sauce. I'm not interested in that. I'm still looking for a gluten free eggs Benedict. They also have a gluten free egg white omelette. I prefer the yolks. I don't know why the gluten free omelette has to be egg white here.I had the gluten free pancakes. They taste like corn. It was ok. My grandmother made corn pancakes so reminded me of that. But I've gotten used to the pancakes I make at home, which I prefer. I got vanilla glaze for my pancake. I thought it would be like how I imagine Cinnabon. It was too sweet. Cloying. I was disappointed.I'm concerned that the server didn't really understand gluten free. Also, the gluten free items are part of the 'healthy' section. Made me anxious. I didn't get sick. But I don't plan to return. The lunch menu had no gluten free items. I didn't see the dinner menu.
