Mackies Cafe

Mackies appears to have closed down. The sign out the front is gone (though one is painted on the side of the building) and it looks deserted. What a shame as I was looking forward to eating there after reading great reviews!

The staff at Mackie’s Cafe were very helpful and knowledgeable about coeliac. If you order gluten free chips they will fry them separately. They prepare items separately and change gloves, etc. Most of the burgers can be made gluten free. I ordered the chicken burger and it was great.
