Paid $42 for a small lobster roll and a cup of chowder. The chowder was cold and the potatoes were undercooked. The lobster was not very tasty, I think it was frozen. The bun wasn’t even toasted (it was Udi’s for a $2 up charge). Also keep in mind it’s a food truck so you get to eat at a picnic table with flys on the side of the road.

My daughter and I had a very delicious lunch. I haven’t had fried food in years, but all the items on the menu are made with gluten free flour. We had onion rings and popcorn shrimp with our meal, and it was amazing. Gluten free buns for sandwiches, burgers, and lobster rolls are available. They also offer gluten free pizza, though we didn’t order it so I can’t say how it tastes. We felt fine after eating here, and didn’t get sick.

Fantastic seafood dining in small-town Maine! Almost all of the seafood dinner combos can be made gluten free including the fried dinners (haddock, shrimp, clams) and the fries/onion rings! dedicated fryer and they use no airborne flour in the kitchen. GF items are clearly marked on the menu and staff understood “celiac” right away. Was dining with non-GF companions and they brought out my meal first and reiterated again that it was GF. Highly recommend!

They have a separate fryer and can make just about anything on the menu gluten free! They have a huge menu. So far I’ve only had the fried haddock sandwich and fries but it was so delicious! I can’t wait to try other menu items like the lobster roll and the pizza. Wish I lived even closer! I come here almost every time I go hiking or skiing in the area. Highly recommend for celiac or gluten free! Such a treat.

We've been coming to Maine for 20+ years and we've hit all the major seafood places in Portland and along the coast and Mack's is up there with the best of them. They have a dedicated Gluten-free fryer which allows those with Celiacs/GF issues to order anything that would be fried. Outside of Legal Seafoods I don't know of another place with a dedicated Gluten-free fryer. 3 out of the 6 members in our party ordered Gluten-free Fried Seafood Combos and everything was cooked to PERFECTION. The clams were fresh and tender. The scallops were moist and melted in our mouths. And the shrimp had a wonderful crunch. The service was also outstanding. Our waitress was friendly, checked in with us many times during our time there, and made sure that we all enjoyed our meals.Highly recommend trying Macks!

Gluten free seafood and fries in a dedicated fryer!?!? There are so many options here! The fried seafood is amazing! They offer gf buns for burgers and sandwiches, which look creative and delicious. They also offer pizza, as well as gluten free breading for chicken tenders and baked seafood dishes. The staff is so friendly and informative. I wish I had found this place sooner.
