Went for a lovely lunch in March with my partner. The food was really good and having the majority of items being gluten free is fantastic! My favourite part having lunch here as someone with celiac is the cakes! I love their Aero Mint cake or chocolate fudge cake ❤ Would recommend 😄

Went for a 7 course tasting menu at Christmas time. As a vegetarian coeliac I felt very safe and the food was absolutely beautiful! They clearly understand the importance of cross contamination etc. Definitely recommend

We had a fab lunch here, every cake was gluten free! So much choice. Lots of speciality teas too, served in teapots. Lots of choice in sandwiches, soups and specials. Lovely independent place too. Will definitely visit again.

From the owner
We have a large variety of gluten free cakes/ biscuits, all our sandwiches and specials are, or can be gluten free. Mr Maggie's makes homemade gluten free scotch eggs in the summer as part of our flan and scotch egg special. We also have gluten free cheesecakes, flans and lemon meringue pies in our chiller during the summer months. We have a fairy garden with children's play area and outside seating. Mrs Maggie is a coeliac and does all of the baking. Mr Maggie cooks everything fresh and in house. Our menu is 98% gluten free. We also have some vegan gluten free options. We are a dog and child friendly tea room. We have high chairs and a baby changing area.

Love this place. Very safe for coeliacs. Pretty much everything has a gluten free option and the staff have a very good understanding of cross contamination. It's a lovely, cosy place too.
