I was not sure if I should click celiac friendly or not. I had my birthday parties at Maggio's (old location) when I was a kid, I am now 45, so I have eaten there a lot. The food is great. When I heard they had dedicated GF kitchen space and were good with allergies I was over the moon. I have eaten there twice, both times I got sick. The last was a few days before Christmas and I got really, really sick. Both times I ordered GF but I forgot to check about the salad dressing. I am hoping it was my fault and was glutened by the salad dressing because the owners and staff are awesome people. That being said I was so sick I am unlikely to risk eating there again. Also there are very few menu items listed as gluten free and they tend to be the pricer items on the menu.

Very disappointed no gf pasta or pizza. Not many options for gf vegetarian, but the asain salad I got was good.
I called ahead and spoke with the manager (Sam) and he assured me that they take all allergies very seriously. He said to let our server know that I had Celiac when we ordered. As soon as we were seated and given the menu I mentioned it and next thing Sam came over. While they had a gluten free lunch / dinner menu they did not have a breakfast menu, but Dam said they could make me whatever I wanted. Ordered an omelet with home fries and sausage. Toast wasn't available gf. My order came out separately and was delicious and I had no reaction. I have added Maggio's to my list of places to trust. Thank you Sam!!
