Amazing food. Pho was GF and #91 and spring rolls we’re also GF and delicious. Fresh and tasty ingredients. No GaF menu but staff was very informative. Will for sure be back.

Lots of yummy gf Vietnamese food, and the server I had seemed knowledgeable. Just be aware that the GF on the menu means it’s either gf or CAN BE made gf, so make sure to ask before ordering blindly.

Very busy place but the staff are excellent at getting tables open pretty quickly, and the wait is totally worth it! Staff is knowledgeable and the medicine is very clearly marked.

Mai Lee has very clear GF listed next to all foods that are gluten free on the menu. Mainly the Vietnamese foods. My favorite place in STL for pho.

All my GF friends have been raving about Mai Lee and encouraging me to go for months. I was told (and then confirmed with the staff) that all the pho was GF. I ordered the #16 (which was delicious) and then 5 bites in I was informed that the veggie broth I'd asked for wasn't actually GF as it's soy sauce based. Apparently it's only the chicken & beef broth that are actually GF, which I wasn't told when i asked for the vegetarian substitution even after explaining my allergy. Beware the veggie broth! Already feeling sick & I won't be going back.

I love Mai Lee! I get the Chicken Pho (#11 on the menu) and I’ve never had an issue! I have a diary and gluten allergy and I’m extremely sensitive, this is one of the only restaurants I’ve never gotten sick at. The Pho is so flavorful and the portion is big enough that I usually have 2 servings.

AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE! The server was very attentive and knowledgeable about what was gluten free on the menu- he even suggested certain dishes that he personally liked that were gluten free. We ended up getting the chicken curry dish, which was delicious and fresh... our server said that all the curries were gluten free. Excellent experience for a very sensitive celiac!

LOVE Mai Lee and was so glad to know I could still eat here. All the Pho soups are GF, and you can substitute with rice noodles in many dishes. I told the server I was GF and she pointed me in the right direction in terms of what I could order. I ordered #91 and she gave me the thumbs up that it was GF (steamed rice on the side)!

Great for people who are Celiac and I am new to celiac and in the middle of trying new foods and so I thought the rice without soy sauce was great and they have fantastic egg drop soup.

Granted I went on a busy night, but I wasn't impressed. No gluten free menu, and server said my options were curry or soup. Neither of which sounded good to me, but I chose the soup anyway and left feeling hungry.

This place is incredible! The waiter was super knowledgeable and the service was fast. They don't have a specific gluten free menu but they do adjust menu items. I had a delicious rice noodle dice. They also have amazing spring rolls for an appetizer.

Got lots of gf options on the menu. Pho #9 is the must have and also other coconut curry dishes are very good! Might want to avoid deep fried dishes to prevent the cross contamination. Spring rolls and lotus root salad are very good for appetizer! Enjoy it!!

Very good! I always get the same thing (#142) and it is naturally GF. They are knowledgable and can work with you to make something yummy and GF from their menu.

I come here all the time and get different items each visit. The staff are very knowledgeable about what gluten is and are very aware of the "hidden" gluten in soy sauce, etc. Every time I come I ask them to change their gloves or wash their hands when they make my food and they are very kind about my requests. I've never been sick coming here and I'm definitely pretty sensitive (celiac). I love Mai Lee!
