Main St. Local Kitchen

I ate at the Main St. Local Kitchen twice on the same day when I was travelling through Huntsville in October. I am celiac and I read that they have gluten free breads and desserts. I felt confident eating here as the chef is celiac and the staff is knowledgeable about celiac disease. Our server Courtney checked to ensure that the items I chose were gf and she was very efficient with our order. I certainly enjoyed the grilled cheese on gf bread and the homemade red pepper soup. Great food. Friendly informative staff. The owner is also celiac and often present on site to help navigate questions. Staff will help direct you through the menu to find your GF selections. My daughters food came marked with an allergy toothpick giving me confidence that it was prepared with her needs in mind.

LOTS of options and good cross contamination procedures. Very knowledgeable chef.

The churro recipe is gluten-free BUT they do NOT currently have a dedicated fryer.
