I won't say the place is super safe, but the girls working there understood why I needed gluten free (one of their moms has celiac), and took the necessary precautions. She opened a new tub of ice cream for me, read the ingredients, (let me read them actually) and used a clean scoop. She even said they have gluten free comes, so my day was totally made. I couldn't even tell the cone was gf it was so good, but she even announced "gluten free salted caramel!?" when she called me up to grab my order. My non-gf son and husband both enjoyed their regular ice cream as well.
