When we booked this resort our travel agent informed them that I was celiac and my companions had other allergies. From the moment we arrived the staff were amazing. The staff asked at the door to each restaurant if there are allergies in your group. Everywhere we ate when I told them I was celiac the chef came out to speak with me. I recommend the sit down restaurants more than the buffets although I did eat some food from the buffets while being very careful, arriving early after the restaurant opened so there was not so much chance of cross contamination from other guests. This was nerve-wracking for me so I tried to stick to the á la carte places. There were still lots of options and the staff found ways to change items to work for me. Everything was still beautiful and tasty with all the “fun” extras like garnishes that I could have.
Well the menu has tons of options, none of the staff understand what gluten is. It’s a very scary experience to eat here despite them having a great menu. One of the things they advertise on the website is the variety of gluten-free options. I’ve had much better options and service and other MAJESTIC properties. Proceed with caution.
