Amazing!!!! called ahead for traditional injera ... AMAZING!!!!
Dined here recently with friends. I picked the restaurant because of my dietary needs (gluten and dairy free). I called the owner a few days ahead and explained my needs; he was extremely helpful and understanding. He said his wife does all the cooking and with proper notice she will bake gluten free injera. Anyone trying to eat out gluten free should know that calling ahead is a MUST. I had a lovely meal and wonderful experience, as the owner took the time to explain all the Ethiopian dishes and customs to our party of 10. I did NOT have any problems after my meal and would go there again.
Food is good but NOT gluten free. In Ethiopia the traditional bread, injera, is gluten free but in America is often mixed with other flours. I asked and had to avoid the injera because they do mix with all purpose flour.
Ethiopian food- Naturally gluten free and amazing! : )
