They use the same utensils, etc. for gluten free pizzas. Same oven. Obvious cross contamination.

The owner came to our table to talk about their gluten free crust. They have invested a lot of time, energy and money into developing their gluten free crust. It was very good, unique (made with egg whites) and the owner is very interested in keeping people safe.

I really enjoy their pasta & salad combo here. I get the pesto pasta and tomato caprese salad and it's delicious! Employees usually specify whether it's a gluten "allergy" which makes me feel safe. Haven't gotten sick after multiple times of eating here!

Pretty safe place. Just make sure they don't cut your pizza with the regular cutter. They told me they'd use a separate cutter but that info didn't get to the person cutting it and I couldn't stop him in time before he used the wrong one. But the staff was great about making another and letting me take the other one home for my family no charge. I really like the crust which they make themselves. Very crispy and chewy.

Santa Fe pizza = so good and just the right spice The cashier didn't seem trained on allergens though which has me nervous and he want even sure what gluten was. I chose this place due to their certification but that obviously needs some additional training

I don't know what this other person is talking about that only gave one star. I have been too several pizza places including pizza pie cafe, dominos, pier 49, and several others in California. Malawi's is by far my favorite. I've been here probably over 15 times. This is thin crust, brick oven type of pizza. The pizza is more on the healthier side and they have a large menu to choose from. You can customize your pizza and the desert pizzas are amazing. it's only 9-10 dollars for a 10-12 inch pizza. This is cheaper than most places

Pizza was terrible and way over priced. Hardly any toppings were on the pizza, and toppings are frozen not fresh; they warm their chicken with a hand torch.
