Mallards At the Wharf

Enjoyed a great lunch here. They have several items clearly marked on the menu that are GF. Having Celiac makes it difficult to eat out. I felt very good eating here after speaking with our waitress. Btw they are open every day. The website says they are closed on Mondays.

They had several options that worked with my gluten & soy allergies. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the catch of the day, a grilled swordfish special and the Creme brûlée dessert. Wonderful find in a quaint little town. Beautiful views from the dock while we sat and enjoyed our meal. Was a real hidden treasure and to find somewhere so good and safe on a road trip was a real treat.

Only few choices but they were excellent. When you're on the road finding this gem was great.

Staff was knowledgeable and my husband had no reaction. There were several options on the menu to choose from. I actually emailed ahead of time and got a very prompt response from a senior staff member reassuring me that they understood gluten free/celiac requirements.
