looked really good but closed at lunchtime. Staff didn't know when he would open "sometime in the afternoon"
Place is closed!!! Was too a shame for me upon realizing this
All lactose free and gluten free, so that was fantastic. Staff was super friendly and accommodating of our weird eating time (4pm). Had pizza and salad. Both were pretty good, but not the fresh ingredients I've grown accustomed to in Italy... (or at least in Sicily). Still, I'd go back and this time I'd save room for what sounded like amazing deserts.
100%gf!! It is not the healthiest foods but I really enjoyed the fried fish and the doughnuts!!
Fried food!!!! (Need I say more?) amazing!
Beyond what we thought we were going to encounter. Delicious food, friendly staff & so much comfort knowing we could have anything on the menu. Non gluten free peeps won't know the difference. Want this place back home!!!
Absolutely loved this place - more of a place for lunch or snack. Their entire menu is gluten free with separate fryers. I rarely can have fried food being a celiac due to cross-contamination. I finally got to eat arancini and zepole!
We ate here 3 times while in Rome. I hadn't had a fresh fried doughnut in... years. So it was the first thing I ordered. it was so yummy I cried. And they only do GF. The food is heavy because it's fried, but hey, how often do we get the chance for fried battered food?
Great place! It's very nice not having to worry about cross contamination because everything is gluten free!!
This is a must go to! It's entirely gluten free and has a ton of fried options.
I am not gf but my fiancé is. We are always looking for great gf food to eat. In my experience, gf food is often hit or miss. However, this place is fantastic! By far some of the best gf bread and pizza I have ever had. The place itself is small and only has about five or six small tables. You could very easily order at the counter and take it to go. Staff is very nice and spoke a decent amount of English. We tried the eggplant parm sandwich, pizza, and calzone. All of it was delicious.
Dedicated gluten free restaurant that has a delicious menu! By far my favorite meals while in Rome! The calzone, pizza rolls and crocche was the best. The dough is so fluffy. My husband is not celiac and raved about how good his meals were. Ended up eating here twice. Wish they would open in the States!
Small, casual place - the selection is good, everything is GF - and the food is delicious (even according to the non-gf person in the group).
Tout est gluten free ... aucun risque et c'est un vrai bonheur :) all is gluten free !!!
This was one of the best GF meals we had during our two weeks in Italy! The bread they use to make their sandwiches is soft, crusty and chewy, just like regular panini bread. Our daughter loved her calzone and my wife loved her tomatoes and mozzarella risotto (though maybe a bit too salty). Their donuts with nutella were heavenly. In our family 3 of the 4 of us have celiac and this place was just fantastic, even for the one who can eat non-GF. We wish they would open a franchise in the US (preferably Denver, Colorado, so we could eat there whenever we wanted).
What a great place. The mushroom sausage risotto was fabulous. The eggplant parmigiana was very good too. The cuoppo delizioso is a fried donut with sugar and Nutella. One of the best gluten free places I've ever been too. Small place but you will love the food and price.
Absurdly delicious fried food that's far from healthy but very much a treat for the gluten free!! Everything is gf and a lot is dairy free.
WONDERFUL! Everything is gluten free. Donuts and deliciousness.
Delicious fried foods, all gluten free! Fried pizzas, stuffed pizzas, sandwiches, doughnuts, and much more. Good prices for gluten free street food!
AMAZING FOOD! Their menu offers extensive gluten free options including pizza, risotto, fried fish, and even donuts! We stumbled upon this restaurant by accident and were so amazed that all of our yummy food was gluten free. My family that was not gluten intolerant said that it was some of the best fried fish they have ever had in their lives!
What a great find! The staff was friendly and helpful to Americans. They had several fried food options. I had fried mini meatballs with French fries, without cheese of course...but I suspect they'd be good with cheese, too, if you can eat it. They also had fried chicken and lots of other dishes, all of which are GF. They appear to be serious about serving GF patrons.
