I called to ask about the steps they take to avoid cross contamination and the man who answered the phone seemed extremely bothered by me asking. When I asked if he thought it’d be safe he said “it’s a pizza shop, there’s flour in the air”. I was clearly inconveniencing him by even asking. We did not end up eating here.
I was really impressed with the extent Mama Maria’s goes to avoid cross contamination for my GF pizza. It’s cooked in its own tray, which comes with the pizza, and they include a separate GF pizza slicer. I’ve ordered GF pizza elsewhere but have never had such intentional segregation. I loved the special touches. The pizza was pretty good. The crust was nice with a really flakey crust. The non-GF gang loved their pizzas
