I celebrated my birthday here with my friends and family. Ask your waiter for the gluten free menu, and they’ll bring you out a completely gluten free menu. They also have tamari soy sauce. The waitress we had was so extremely helpful and attentive. I was literally going to take a bite of my friend’s Brussel sprouts appetizer (bc I assumed it would be safe, that was my bad), and the waitress rushed over and told me “that’s not gluten free! Would you like the gluten free version?” Wow that was a first!
The dinner was delicious I got edamame, some of their fancy cocktails, and two sushi rules. Everything was delicious and fantastic and I had a wonderful time! The ambiance is beautiful. This is one of those restaurants where you feel “normal” and you don’t have to worry as long as you order off the gluten free menu.
For dessert I had a scoop of salted caramel gelato. YUM!
I went here for my birthday and had an amazing experience! I am celiac and loved that they had a separate gluten free menu. The sushi was amazing and was a stress free experience knowing everything was gluten free. I will definitely be going back.
First of all, I appreciate a gluten free menu. I would say unfortunately half of the menu is not gluten free, but there are still some pretty good items from most menu sections.
The food is delicious, I also ordered nigiri tasting gluten free and it was fantastic as well.
There are some surprising things that are not gluten free (like tobikio and their seasoning salt) which is disappointing but overall you can enjoy a good meal here.
The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free options and what needs to be done in order to make adjustments to your order. They assure that while cross contamination can exist because of a kitchen using gluten products that they do the best they can to minimize the risk.
