Staff is not very welcoming. We both had allergies. I have a gluten allergy & requested gluten free empanadas . He had a pork allergy & requested a Mediterranean& mushroom empanada. They hurriedly rush you out their face like you are bothering them when you inquire about menu items. We got our food only to find the gluten free empanadas in the same bag as the food bill wheat empanada. When he bit into the Mediterranean, he realized that it was not Mediterranean. Also, the mushroom empanada was hard & appeared to be very old. After taking it back, she told him it was a Cuban empanada which was as filled with pork. He told the lady he was allergic to pork 2x & she didn’t even acknowledge his allergy. This establishment has no consideration for individuals with allergies & very nonchalant.About 30 minutes later I developed hives after eating from her. Customer BEWARE! BUY AT YOUR own risk. Will NOT return.

When ordering, I explained my daughter Gluten allergy. I order her corn empanadas and asked for a separate bag. During the bagging process, I noticed them going in the same bag. I asked if it was my order and the cashier laughed at me and said they were made in the same fryer. Nice.

Corn flour/maiz patties labeled with “gluten free corn flour.” I have never gotten sick, but I’m unsure if they used a dedicated fryer. Definitely worth checking out for some incredible empanadas! Make sure you specify corn, not wheat empanadas.
