The pizza was just average. I expected more bc of the great reviews, but it was far from excellent. I got sick after eating their pizza too, which made my experience not so good.
visiting from north carolina and was thrilled to find gluten free pizza in Texas! Very good!
Delicious gluten free pizza and wonderful customer service! I definitely recommend everyone tries it at least once!
Great experience. The gluten free crust was delicious! My new favorite pizza spot
Hands down the best pizza I've ever had! There gluten free crust is perfection. It comes in one size! Best gluten crust I've ever had! Definitely worth a try!!
I was so excited to try their pizza since one just opened up closer to my house but was very disappointed in their gluten free pizza. The crust seems to be made out of white rice flour which in my experience leaves the pizza very doughy like and never crisps up like gluten free all purpose flour crusts do. The gluten free pizza is not big enough to share, my husband had to order his own which he said was not very good either and he got a regular crust and said it was just way to buttery and greasy. My husband calls me a "pizza connoisseur" since pizza is my absolute favorite thing to eat and even though I'm not an expert at it, I do know how to judge a good pizza. There are two things that make a pizza to me and one is the crust, it needs to be crispy but not burnt and when holding the pizza slice it does not need to flop down to where you lose all the sauce and toppings. Secondly the sauce is very crucial, you need to have a sauce that is earthy and thick enough to stay on the pizza but not to taste like paste or that it comes from a can. The sauce at Mama's Pizza was very plain with no earthy taste to it plus it tasted like it came out of a can to me. I've had many people rave to me about it which gets me excited but when I'm already challenged with a gluten allergen I would expect to have some very tasty pizza but instead I got a very doughy, tastless pizza in which I lost have my toppings because the pizza just flopped instead of holding it's form.
I am Mamma’s Pizza biggest fan. I have eaten it for 46 yrs. When I recently was diagnosed with Celiac I immediately thought no more Mamas. I tried their gf pizza inMansfield and had an immediate reaction. They said they had a dedicated place to make pizzas but I did not ask about ovens. I’m so sad!!

Great people work there!! Very polite and friendly!! I ordered via phone and when I got there to pick it up she assured me that they cleaned the area changed gloves and used a new cutter and board for our pizzas!!!! All without me even asking!! As a mama of three kids with celiac it was a wonderful experience; as for the kids-pizza and an arcade- they were thrilled!! All this and the pizza was good too.

This particular location (Camp Bowie) is amazing. They always change gloves, pizza cutters, and take great care with avoiding cross contamination. We’ve eaten here multiple times and my children who have symptomatic celiac have had no trouble. Additionally, the manager and staff always treat our requests with kindness and respect. The GF pizza crust is great—thin crust and crunchy around the edges.

They offer gf ppizza. Dont know how safe it is though. Everytime i have the gf pizza here, symptoms kick up. So while its ok for folks who just want to avoid gluten for dietary preference, it doesn seem it is safe for those who are gluten free for medical reasons.
