I was so excited to try these given the reviews, but I unfortunately didn’t have a great experience.

While I ordered gluten free crepes, I’m not certain the surface was cleaned prior to making mine. Moreover, when I ate the crepes and shared with my family, they were incredibly salty - to the point where it was almost inedible. Initially, I thought they mistook salt for sugar, but my wife believes it’s something in the gluten free batter. Unfortunately, we ate them in a place other than the restaurant, so we couldn’t do much to remedy the issue.

They know what gluten free means and made a lovely savory creep that did not make me sick the next day. So I went back for breakfast again. It is good and tasty food and good coffee in a cafe environment, very enjoyable!

I had a fantastic smoked salmon crepe here! The staff made absolutely sure there was no cross contamination on it, and informed me multiple times they were making an effort. I took a little while to make my crepe, but they told me right away that it was to clean the grill! I really appreciated the extra effort.

The coffee is amazing! We went 3 days in a row! Sooo good ! We had a lovely chat with owners in February! Monterey special with eggs soo good! I wish I could take them back to Mn with us!

Omg the crepes are so delicious!!

For my fellow oat-allergic celiacs, their crepe batter does not contain oats! The crepe was tender and crispy, and the sugar-butter combo tasted caramelized. The coffee was really great too, and the vibes in the family-run cafe were great :) we will be back for sure!!

This is a family run establishment that takes food allergies seriously. They made sure there was not any cross-contamination. The food was wonderful & tasted so great! The service was fantastic!

The best gluten free crepes I’ve ever had!!! The staff was so nice and considerate, all the side sauces are gluten free as well. They even brought me a free Nutella and almond crepe when they heard it was my birthday. Chai latte was delicious. A must visit in Monterrey!

We LOVED this place! All their crepes can be made gf - they use separate cooking areas and utensils. They are very nice too and answered all our questions. We went here twice on a 4-day trip because it was so good. The first bite of my warm butter and sugar crepe was the culinary highlight of the year for me.

I also have nut allergies, so a number of the Nutella / chocolate based items were off the menu for me, but they made sure there was no cross contamination with nuts for our order.

Got the crepe with sugar, butter, strawberries, and whipped cream. Absolutely amazing!! The make gluten free crepes and it’s all safe and celiac friendly. So safe didn’t get sick at all. Yay!!!! Yum!!!! My husband got the crepe with strawberries, chocolate, and whipped cream.

Really great staff. Super accommodating. Can build your own crepes whatever style you’d like. Nice atmosphere.

I ordered a gluten free crepe, it was prepared on a dedicated gridle with dedicated tools by a person wearing fresh gloves. The next day they did it again, remembering me as gluten sensitive. All staff were pleasant and comprehended the seperation needed for safe consumption.

A must do for anyone with celiac in living in or traveling to the Monterey area! The owners are extremely thoughtful and take the time not only to clean and prepare the cooking surfaces, but took the time to research the best flour to use. Excellent flavor and consistency of the crepe! Loved it so much. We are only here for a weekend trip and I am hoping to go back again.

Very curious, took 10-15min to clean the kitchen for “gluten allergy”. Ordering was a bit confusing (the menu is on a QR code, but they come to your table to take your order). Very considerate and knowledgeable with Gluten (which was hard to find on the wharf). They have gluten free crepe options, a lot of them! Huge portions!! Delicious food!

Excellent food and friendly service - if I lived in Monterey I would go there every week. The crepes are very reasonably priced, considering the quality and quantity. You just need to ask about the GF crepes, and tell them you need the serious / celiac GF process. I had absolutely no issues after I had brunch there. My non-GF wife ordered the same GF crepe as I did (house special) and she was very happy with it. They are a family run business who offer cheerful and genuine hospitality. They charge an extra $3 for the GF crepe - now, here's why: 1) They use the best GF flour that they have found (not the cheapest, but you want the best, right?), 2) They take the time / effort to clean the equipment and avoid cross-contamination, 3) Realistically, this is a pretty "low profit margin" business, as the crepes are very reasonably priced. So tip generously, and be grateful that someone cares about your needs.

Wow! Had a caramel, chocolate and banana desert crepe. Beautifully finished with whip cream and trimmings. So good! You eat these with a fork.

Excellent food. Ordered savory and sweet crepes. Everyone enjoyed. When ordering gluten free, they informed us of their precautions without us having to ask. They were knowledgeable that a new wooden crepe spatula would need to be used and the crepe maker was thoroughly cleaned. Kind, knowlegeable and great food. Five stars.
