The best Chinese food you'll EVER eat! Me and my family have been going here forever and couldn't even taste the difference in the gluten-free menu. I have noticed that there was slight cross contamination one time I've gone (out of 10), but my reaction was very minor and I'm really sensitive. The staff is really nice and helpful. Just make sure they clean out the wok and use separate oil. I always remind them and tell them how careful they need to be and have been okay since I've explained more clearly.
The Mandarin in one word: PHENOMENAL! My sister and I both have Celiac as well as allergies to sesame, nuts, and fish. Our waitress, Jenny, went out of her way to make sure the oil was changed in the GF fryer (for fish allergy) and that we could eat what we wanted to order. The chicken fried rice was out of this world tasty. Both the Lemon chicken and almond chicken were coated with an egg and cornstarch "breading" The almond chicken was also delicious! We ate it without the almonds, so it was basically sweet and sour chicken, but also amazing. The Lemon chicken was also good. I will order all of these dishes again!
The Mandarin is great for GF eating! We have gone here many times and I have yet to get sick. They are very careful and are very knowledgeable about GF diets and allergies. Besides, their food tastes amazing. We love to order the Cashew Chicken and GF lettuce wraps. I honestly don't feel left out here or deprived in any way. We also tried the GF chocolate lava cake this time around. It was pretty delicious. The only dish I have tried that I wouldn't really recommend is their lemon chicken because it is breaded with cornmeal I think. It just wasn't very tasty, and a bit too sweet. I will definitely be back here.
