I visited on 1st April 2024 and they were serving cakes only from the cabinet and restaurant under construction for the next three weeks. Owner was lovely and suggested another cafe for us to go to (Unity Cafe).

Fully gluten free restaurant. While the menu wasn’t massive, there was a ton of healthy options to choose from. The food was excellent and the portions were massive. Loved the seating on the upper level. Highly recommend!

Completely gluten-free kitchen. The food is delicious and they also ask for any other allergies when taking your order. We had spaghetti, a burger, açaí bowl and fluffy pancakes!!

Dedicated gluten free facility, one of several in the area owned by Mara (inckuding Gluten Free on Bisma). After one of my meals here, she sat down with me and a couple others to chat. She's been running these places since at least 2015, if I recall correctly. She also started a gluten free organization, owns distribution for gluten free foods in Indonesia, and also provides education for hotels and such so they can provide options for those of us who can't eat gluten. Bali (and especially Ubud) is a fantastically accessible travel destination for us largely thanks to her.

As for the food, the menu is fairly limited, but there's a decent variety of western/international fare, some breakfast/dessert options, and an assortment of gluten free baked treats like brownies and cookies. I returned several times and always liked what I tried. I'll be trying Gluten Free on Bisma next as I'm told they offer Indonesian fare, which I had previously discounted trying on account of risk due to celiac.

Pricing very reasonable, considering it's specialty fare that I expect is directly targeted at tourists.

5 stars, and my thanks to Mara for alleviating all concerns I had about eating in Ubud.

This restaurant was amazing. Everything on the menu was gluten free! I definitely recommend the gluten free lasagna and the banana and berries smoothie. This is the perfect spot to get lunch and the staff is so kind.

Nice gf restaurant, staff knowledgeable and friendly. The food was great, I had a chicken burger and kids gf pancakes. Safety and cleanliness also very good. The service painfully slow though.

Everything here is completely gluten free and coeliac friendly and it all tasted absolutely amazing! There was such a variety for different types of diets as well e.g vegetarian, paleo and keto but then options to add in meat for example if wanted. Would definitely recommend

Best place in Ubud to eat as a celiac (or any other allergy). Everything is Gluten free and staff is knowledgeable about allergies. Food is amazing, prices fair. Certainly the place I’ve felt most safe to eat (both for GF and clean kitchen) in Bali.

I found Mara’s searching for the previous named restaurant “blossoms”. I’m so glad I did. The entire menu is 100% coeliac and there’s something for everyone. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is delicious.
