Review of Marbella

Marbella is the main hotel restaurant at the Wyndham Grande Rio Del Mar in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico where they serve their breakfast buffet daily. I had an excellent experience here every morning of our stay. The staff was amazing, polite, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and assured about my gluten allergy. They will make you gluten free toast and pancakes in the back if you ask. I recommend ordering those as soon as you sit down because it will take some extra time. I had the made to order omelette from the buffet and everything there was gluten free so no issues with cross contamination. I was ok eating things like bacon and fruit from the buffet, but if you’re super worried about cross contamination (because buffet), they will get you fresh items from the kitchen. As usual, with a buffet, you miss out on a lot of the bakery items and some other things, but I was happy to have a reliable GF breakfast to start our day and was happy with the experience.
