This was a lovely restaurant, family owned and operated. I am gluten free and they nailed it. The main fare is fish, shellfish like clams and shrimp and squid and octopus. I don’t eat shellfish but the other guests did. The fish is brought out and then filleted at the table but is served as a simple grilled fish and was wonderful, light and tender, not too much to mask the flavor. It was a sea bass. The clams came in a garlic butter sauce, fresh and small, though a large portion. The food was served with rice and vegetables, ordered family style. We also ordered a salad which was served in a long platter of perfectly fresh lettuces and tomatoes with sweet onion.

They also serve meats and cheeses and olives.

We ordered a red sangria which was excellent.

They only had fruit salad for gluten free. But the table ordered two deserts, the cheesecake and apple pie. The pie came with a healthy portion of ice cream.

The family eating near us ordered a giant fish soup which we were told was typical of fisherman in Portugal. It smelled wonderful.

The meal was not expensive. In fact, it was far less than we expected.

If you’ve red this far, another great thing about this restaurant is a designated parking lot making parking very easy. There was no need to fight the crowds at the beach which made this restaurant all the more appealing.
