Very small restaurant with well spaced tables in a courtyard.
Menu has no indication of allergy awareness
However the server and chef ( I assume also the owners) have a very good understanding of allergens.
The bread basket included 2 types of homemade gluten free bread and I was told what was in the 'dipping oil'
The hors d'oeuvre appetizers had been adjusted to my dietary requirements and likewise the vegetable accompaniments.
I had the steak (usually the safest thing on the menu) but they also have gluten free pasta which I am going to have next time.
Quite pricey for Cape Verde but well worth the money considering it includes the gluten free bread and hors d'oeuvre appetizers
Updated November 2023
They no longer have gf pasta but most main courses are gf and if not can be adjusted. Good allergen awareness.
