Review of Marinelli's Pizza

My daughter and I are both celiac, my husband is not. We drove 20minutes out of our way home from a long event to this restaurant because of its celiac rating/reviews. Our experience was really bad. Both of us got sick, and the whole experience was frustrating. Staff was clueless, place was empty on a Saturday night, food took way too long and was still partially frozen inside(calzone). Waitress wasn't even apologetic about cold food after a 30 min wait! We were 1 of 3 tables. She proceeded to avoid/neglect us from that point on. Could barely choke out a sorry. They proceeded to microwave calzone, which didn't improve it in the least. Horrible food. Husbands basic burger meal was lackluster too. Total waste. I would've left if it wasn't for needing to feed ourselves after 6hrs out in the sun all day. I researched this place, prepped online and read reviews. I'm still shocked at how bad it was. If you are a business that wants to tout celiac friendly options, trained staff, etc.....you better deliver! Celiacs aren't a fad! If you wouldn't eat the celiac food you are serving, don't serve it! Train your staff!! Stop treating us as difficult when we choose your location on what you advertise to cater to!!eating out is so stressful! We have to go to great lengths to even find a place, then trust with our health, and hope for food to be at least edible. I'm so frustrated with the empty promises, crappy food, horrible staff knowledge.
