There are three options for pasta- garlic and oil, clam sauce, or marinara. That’s it. Food took an hour to come out for some reason. All we got was pasta. It was fine. Decor was nice. Didn’t get sick. Five stars just to have a viable option.
Great meal! No GF menu and there weren’t too many GF options but the waitress was able to describe a couple veal dishes (one was saltimbocca) and one chicken dish that were GF. I ordered the chicken dish (seemed like lemon, butter & capers), along with GF pasta (cooked separately) with vodka sauce, and a caprese salad. All were delicious! They have a GF flourless cake on the dessert menu but it wasn’t available while I was there.
Based on GF NYC posts, we tried Mario’s, and were not disappointed!😋Our waiter Manny was knowledgeable and assured us our pasta would be prepared separately. It was delicious, fun atmosphere with singer, and we didn’t get sick!
