I was told that they fry their fries in a separate fryer, and I did not get sick from them. They have a pretty good gf selection all things considered! As a picky celiac disease patient, this restaurant is on my list of safe places to eat at locally.

From reviews I was excited to go for a maid rite. A walk down memory lane. Sever was not knowledgeable or helpful to clarify safe to eat items. Not a dedicated kitchen or prep area as mentioned in the photo of the menu uploaded. Other postings maybe be misleading as I was told none of their fried sides were gluten free. All of their sandwiches can be made on a gluten free bun. I did have the maid rite on a gluten free bun and potato salad. Will see how turns out.
Gluten and dairy free breaded mushrooms were out of this world,Gluten-free bun,not a bad place, ,

Separate gluten-free menu that also has vegan and vegetarian options. Whole city was under a "boil water" order from the health department so I was a little worried but all seems OK and they said they were taking extra precautions.

The menu very clearly marks what can be GF, vegan, and vegetarian. I was very happy to be able to have a cheese Maid-rite on a really tasty GF bun. Most of the burgers and sandwiches would have also worked plus a few sides, including their chili. We didn’t try their shakes, floats, or ice cream but they looked good. This is a small hole in the wall kind of place.

Had the pulled pork. There was a limited choice of gluten free items. Service was fair-to-good, but they were very busy.

Had a burger on a GF bun and it was good. The online menu and in-restaurant menu did not match. When asked to find out if the fries were GF, our server shrugged it off. The root beer is delicious.

This place was horrible! We stopped here for an early dinner with our family and the waitstaff flat out ignored us and didn’t even acknowledge our presence! A bus of people dropped in after we had been there for 15 minutes with still no greeting from the staff, so we got up and left. DON’T GO HERE!!!!!
