A small restaurant that worth it. The owner was very kind. He brought all the ingredients at our table and we did the pizza ourselves. Everythings was good. Everybody loved their pizza.

I had the Samuel Clemons on Cauliflower crust and had no reaction. When I called they were knowledgeable about the cross contamination and ingredients that were not gluten free.

They bring the gluten free crust and ingredients you wish to put on your pizza to your table and allow you to make your own GF pizza. We have loved this place for.many years and find the staff warm and friendly (including the owner who is almost always present). Members reward program provides multiple coupons throughout the year.

No one in the entire kitchen was wearing gloves. They bring the ingredients out for you to put on the pizza yourself, but they put those ingredients in containers using their bare hands after handling money and who knows what else! I watched the guy preparing my pizza go straight from the regular prep area to grabbing spinach out of the container. Staff was rude. I don’t know how this place gets such good reviews. Also, the GF crust was undercooked. My girlfriend has celiac and felt sick after eating.

This was a great pizza! When I ordered, the server asked if I had ever had their gluten free pizza before. I said I hadn’t and she said that, because the kitchen and the kitchen staff have flour everywhere, she would bring me out the crust and all of the toppings and I would “decorate” my pizza at my table! It was so fun and I had no ill-effects afterwards! I highly recommend Mark Twain’s!

You make the pizza yourself to make sure it doesn’t get contaminated.

Mark Twain's has been making gluten free pizzas since 2008 I was told. They brought the crust in an aluminum pan to the table along with separated ingredients that had all been segregated to avoid cross contamination. All very fresh and delicious. This was the best gluten-free pizza I've ever had without question. Highly recommended. Thanks for taking it so seriously! It was great to enjoy pizza again.

Unique "build a pizza" at your table.Owner Jacques Broussard serves about 25 GF pizzas a week to locals and tourists. Have been coming here for about 4 years and never a reaction. Actually had our local CSA Chapter GF supper here a few years back. All enjoyed.

What a great staff, very knowledgeable on gluten free. Lots of choices for your pizza and very fair price. The pizza was very good! We are on vacation, staying in the Garden District, but the safe and yummy meal was worth the drive!

Great place! Real old school. Make your own GF pizza.
I love their build-it-yourself, makes me feel better about cross contamination problems. They use throw away pans and I thought it was pretty good pizza :)
Build your own pizza at your table to prevent cross contamination. Pizza was delicious!
