This place is amazing! Manager is extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to take the time to help. Most things are made in house so they can guarantee safety. Free samples! Salt water taffy and pralines are a must! Will definitely return whenever we are in town.

First note, if the name hasn't been changed on here yet, it's River Street Sweets (not Market Street Sweets). One of the staff members was very knowledgeable. Was familiar enough with the prep process to explain what was GF, what wasn't, and what was at risk of cross contamination - we went with the safe items. DELICIOUS! Cashew near claw, salted milk chocolate (pecan) bear claw, pecan praline, and caramel truffles (this was the favorite). Even got a giant marshmallow crispy treat on a stick for the kid (not GF, or course).
Everything was handled well.
