I have eaten here for many years and love the fish tacos! So yummy and I’ve never gotten sick.
Loved my meal here. We went for our anniversary and it was great. The cauliflower "rice" was very good.
They have a whole separate gluten free menu and the food is quite tasty.
Fortunately I called this location before visiting. This location DOES NOT have a dedicated fryer.
Hi. I have written and spoken to managers about the location at Ridgewalk Parkway in Woodstock Ga a few times. This evening I went for a going away get together with friends. I have Celiac and I by all means DO NOT EXPECT to be catered to when eating out. I instructed the server about celiac and that I had a “wheat allergy”. I asked if there was a dedicated fryer which they offer on the GF menu. She went to check and alas it wasn’t....normally I’d chalk it up to being by chance, but EVERY SINGLE TIME IVE EVER BEEN it’s not a dedicated fryer. They need to take that off the menu as well as all the other food options that are cooked in it. It’s deceiving for customers that have a legitimate issue to even off those foods. Just take it off. I decided to order the Chicken Stack which I used to love with the zucchini and the roasted red pepper sauce and I saw it had new sides so I ordered it just to try even though the other one is better. It literally came out in 4 minutes. Quick service is typically a plus but that was questionably fast. My plate had mashed potatoes, dry mushrooms, and 2 extremely thin and dry dry dry unseasoned pieces. Nothing else. No cheese, artichoke that was it. I asked the server wha happened and she said she would “ask the chef” the manager came over fairly quickly and said they “ran out of artichoke” but offered to put cheese on my chicken. I told him it was already too dry and my friends were almost done eating. Why on earth offer something they don’t have enough of. Another time I was there they “ran out” of asparagus. What? I am just so disappointed. The menu needs to be altered so it doesn’t falsify what people can and cannot eat.
I went as part of a large group during a work conference. Although they may be celiac friendly during normal operations, they were definitely not during my visit! A waiter served me a salmon dish with couscous and swore it was gluten-free until I managed to talk to someone who actually understood gluten and got another piece. It seemed like they didn't take much care with the food due to the group size and I got sick that night, which really put a damper on the conference.
Rather underwhelming. We only came because the place next door was closed. At first glance, they make it seem very celiac friendly, but they don’t quite deliver. The gluten free menu is large, but not all of the items are *actually* gluten free. I ordered the chicken, then the waitress came back and said the potatoes aren’t actually gluten free, even though they were marked as such in the menu. The food took nearly 45 minutes to come out, and it was decent. Small portions and really not worth the stress and wait. In a pinch, this place may work, but I would find somewhere else.
Good service and wonderful food. GF menu had lots to chose from. The shrimp and grits was absolutely delicious!
They have a gluten free menu with plenty of choices, manager assured me they do take it seriously. Only negative I would say is really not Marlowe’s fault, it’s the same for most places in the Dunwoody area. They can’t get good help in the kitchen, food at this location has pretty much always been bland and flavorless, it’s prepared but not cooked well. Always been problems with take out etc. Marlowes is a good company and I appreciate the fact that they have gluten free, but taste is underwhelming at best. But it seems to be safe.
Our server came to the table, introduced herself, told us a bit about the menu and then asked if anyone had food allergies or dietary restrictions. I was stunned! I've never had a server initiate that conversation. She also seemed very knowledgeable about the topic. The table ordered several GF appetizers and I had the Black and Blue Salad (it was actually gargonzola, not bleu cheese). I'll definitely be returning!
I've been there a couple of times and had no problems. They don't have a large number of gf items to choose from. Some locations have a separate fryer, you have to ask.
I had the fish tacos with corn tortillas and jalapeño cheese grits. It was really good! Everything is made fresh to order and the quality of food is very good! Service was lacking a bit but the food made up for it. I'm extremely sensitive and didn't have a reaction.
Great selection of dishes - everything from appetizers to entrees to desserts! I enjoyed my dinner very much and did not get sick.
I've never had a problem at this location, but the I have at the north Atlanta location. I must note that the GF menus are identical. There are GF chips and fries on the GF menu. I asked if they have a separate or dedicated fryer and both locations said they do not. I told them that the fries and chips were not gluten free if they were in the same fried as regular items and it could be misleading. I asked for another dish on the menu that had chicken with tomato sauce on it but the waiter said that too had flour in it. I asked him why it was on the GF menu and he did not know. I asked for yet again, another dish on the GF menu and he again said it had flour in it. I'm confused on whether the know what gluten is, if their staff is just not knowledgeable or what. If you order from this menu, just make sure to ask questions. I ended up asking for a plain piece of chicken with tomato slices. It was bland.
Not a very large or interesting gluten free menu.
Good size GF menu, including appetizers and main entrees. We ordered the cheese fondu and it came with bread instead of their house made chips. Waitress quickly brought the right item. Service was a little slow, so giving it four stars. Waitress was very nice and friendly though. Wouldn't be bad if you don't mind a longer dinner time.
Very extensive gf menu, friendly staff that is very accommodating. I have a few other dietary restrictions and the server was very happy to make adjustments to my meal for that reason. The food was AMAZING! My only regret is that I was only in town for one night so couldn't take home my leftovers! Will definitely come back for more.
I have been to this establishment on several occasions and found the staff to be knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to ask the chef/manager questions when voicing contamination concerns. The prices are a bit elevated; but, it is definitely worth a visit to this restaurant for some very tasty appetizers and main dishes
