I had some communication issues with my waitress and was brought Mediterranean rice which contains noodles. That being said, just ask for basmati rice and you should be ok. The lamb kabob was very good. Three stars because I don't think this place is quite as safe as I expected from the almost 5 star rating.
There were many options and they were able to accommodate gluten free requests. The taste of the food (lamb kabob, chicken kabob, and grape leaves) was okay. Haven't tried anything else yet. The one con was the price. The dishes varied in the price rage of about $20 and up (which contradicts the "one $ sign rating" next to the name).
beef kabobs were so tender, they cut almost be cut with fork. while items are not marked gf, Owner/ proprietor Salim is very knowledgeable and helped me select from the menu. In fact, he saw my plate delivered and came over and whisked it away before i had a chance to consume the rice with vermicelli. I had ordered basmati rice. he was very apologetic. I actually fear eating while traveling in another city, it can be very scary for me. I rely on the reviews greatly. hope this helps!
