Review of Mary's Restaurant

So, went there based on reviews and tried. Staff said that the items that are gluten free are labeled. Breakfast sides are not labeled so I asked which ones were. Waitress said, "Well potatoes have gluten so guess not that." Since I know she was wrong and it's all about how they are prepared, I decided to stick to fruit. Had the Country Omelette and did not have a reaction. Asked about cross-contamination and was told "it's prepared away from bread." Staff didn't seem knowledgeable, stuck to stuff that I was hopeful they couldn't mess up. Overall my food was good, just a bit disappointed that they weren't educated more, despite the labeling on their menu. Final verdict: Safe, but be cautious with order unless you get a knowledgeable waitress.
