Review of Masala

This shop is an Indian grocery store, but they offer a few select dishes that rotate depending on the day of the week (see photo). I went on a Tuesday and got a mix of the vegetarian and chicken curry, which was yummy. The ambiance/set up is a bit like a cafe with tables which are set in the front of the shop. I spoke to the cook and she told me that the only day where she uses anything with gluten is on Thursdays, when she uses pre-made wheat wraps that she hearts up in the kitchen. It’s possible that this could change in the future. On Saturdays they offer dosas, which I’m looking forward to trying, but they recommended calling ahead because they are very popular.
