Called before coming in on a Sunday to make sure they were indeed staying open til 10 & willing to take a party of two ppl at 915pm. They confirmed that was fine if we arrived around 930 & were ready to order by 945. We arrived at 920 & placed our order at 930 (even earlier than had been verified as acceptable just minutes earlier).

To be clear…We DO understand the severe issue of understaffed & overworked restaurants. This is why we called. While driving 1.5 hours to dine here since we are vegan & celiac. To avoid potential issues or just choose another place. To be clear the only reason we arrived so late was bc of a mountain highway closure due to mudslides & flooding where we live. Or we would’ve arrived at 730.

Upon arriving, we found that altho this place is “vegetarian” almost every dish is chock full of dairy & several other allergens. The only GF & vegan options were a bowl of plain bleached white rice (very under satisfying at that) with curries that contain only potatoes & peas as the only veggies..they weren’t willing to add cauliflower or anything else w/nutrients. Even tho I was happy to pay for any amount of meals that needed to make 🤷🏻‍♀

Upon receiving our food (1 of the 2 entrees was incorrectly made a 10spicy instead of a 2spicy… 🤨) at 10:07, we requested that the food be fixed to what we ordered. Language barrier didn’t seem to be an issue, but I could be incorrect about this because there was much confusion. The server (same person I spoke to on the phone) suddenly couldn’t help us fix it at all bc the kitchen was now closed. And suddenly claimed he told us that they CLOSE at 945 with suddenly no recollection of anything being said about 930…We were a bit shocked. We sampled our food, but none was even worth boxing up :( Underseasoned, No flavor (which seems I’ve never experienced with Indian food before..?) We paid for our meals and left. Eesh.

The bathroom was unspeakable. & I’d recommend ordering ToGo because the inside of the restaurant itself is questionable at best during a pandemic.

0/10 would NOT RECCOMMEND. I’m honestly also not sure how others aren’t getting food poisoning eating here. I went next door to pee while our food cooked. This place is awful in every aspect. This isn’t a reasonable way to run a food business in a pandemic.

I’m not big on Indian food but I needed something at 9pm and I was really craving something different. This worked great! I tried the Dosa (two of them) and they were low on deserts but they went out of the way to make the one I had GF. The Dosa (is you don’t know, like I didn’t) is like a HUGE stuffed pancake that you can dip in the selection of sauces. Don’t get two like I did, the thing is huge and filling. They’re open until 10pm and the chef came out and talked to me when I placed my order and was very knowledgeable about what was and wasn’t GF. The GF and Vegan options are marked on the menu. If you’re like me and don’t like curries, the Masala Dosa is stuffed with potatoes spiced with turmeric. It was surprisingly satisfying. I was a bit shocked to get that much food for the price! ($8 for the Dosa) It’s such a relief when GF is usually crazy expensive! I will definitely be back.

100% vegetarian and 80% of the menu is gluten free. everything is delicious, excellent Indian food. Our server indicated that they have a dedicated gluten fryer, but I'd wait until others also verify that as you can get different answers from different people. He did verify that we wanted everything gluten free when finalizing our order, so I assume they consider cross contamination. they have savory Indian pancakes (uthapam) and crepes (dosa). the donuts (vada) are also supposed to be gluten free, but that is of course dependent on the gluten free fryer.

Excellent food. Many options. There can be a bit of a language barrier with some staff but other staff are quick to jump in and help. We did not get anything fried because our server was unable to answer if there was a dedicated fryer. Would definitely eat here again.

All items are labeled with gluten-free and/or vegetarian for the buffet. Food is very tasty. They also bring a crepe- like item filled with tasty potatoes. Will be back.

I go here all the time. It's one of the few restaurants I know I can go to without getting sick and the food is delicious. I always get adraki aloo gobi, which I recommend if you like cauliflower.

I've only been here once because it is far away from me, but it was excellent, and I did not have any problem with gluten here (I am very sensitive). It brought back memories of a trip to India ... Not sure where else you can find southern Indian food in Denver, such as dosas, idly, and sambar. I'm drooling just thinking about it and want to go again!
