Matey's Famous Steaks & Pizza

Pizza was good. They did not have a dedicated fryer so my girls could not have fries like we thought. They also do not have gf rolls as advertised. A bit of a disappointment according to what listed on here that they have.

Went to Mateys for lunch on a recent college visit. When I inquired about gluten free options, the manager assured me she could make a safe gluten free pie using a separate pan and cutter and separate toppings. She explained the owners wife has celiac and that they knew how to prepare the pizza safely from cross contamination. The gf pizza was even delivered to the table by itself to assure any gluten items wouldn’t come in contact with the pie. It was delicious, one of the best gluten free pies, the crust was great! She said they also prepare cheese steaks (without the bread) as another safe gluten free option. I will definitely return on my next visit to Bethlehem.

My husband and I were in town visiting and saw the great reviews so we decided to try their pizza. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and knew all about celiac, we had a buffalo chicken pizza which was phenomenal and the cheeseteak pizza which is just as good! Highly recommend trying them!

Gluten free pizza was utterly delicious. Soft doughy crust, good sauce and topping selections. I hate that I live so far away!

This was the BEST GF pizza I’ve had - the owners Mom has celiac so they are very careful in there preparing of the pizza

the pizza is amazing and made on a separate pan so everything is safe. I had buffalo chicken pizza and it was the best I've ever had.
