The waitress had to check whether they used a separate toaster for the gluten free toast. She came back with the spiel that they are cooked separately but there is gluten all over the kitchen so they can’t guarantee that it was safe. I risked it and was fine, but the toast was ordinary. So hard and dry that the already melting butter just kind of repelled of the top. There were other interesting looking items labelled gluten free on the menu, but once I get the ‘we can’t guarantee’ spiel, I often give up with the risk. It means that they don’t want to offer clean preparation surfaces or take care with my meal. Their choice, of course, but just not somewhere I choose to eat.

Great Cafe that is open for brekkie and lunch. All fried items are gluten free meaning that there is no potential for cross contamination for the usual suspects.
Super high points- salt and pepper squid, popcorn chicken, fries, potato hasbrowns, dedicated toaster for all pastry items.
Low points- they don't have gf burger buns so if you order a burger it will come on sandwich bread which took away from the fun a but.
Have to say that I regretted getting a burger when I saw the sumptuous brekkies being served around me. They looked bloody amazing!
Reccomend highly and will definitely be back.
