Review of Maui Brewing Co.

Not safe for celiacs. After reading reviews here, we thought it might be ok for our daughter with celiac. When we got there and started asking questions, a gentleman who seemed to be a manager was helpful but made very clear the kitchen uses a lot of wheat. Against our better judgment, because our family of 5 was hungry and somewhat desperate to eat, we ate there. Our server clearly did not want to deal with us and practically told us we should leave. Daughter got the teriyaki bowl, which seemed fine (we had been told it was cooked in its own pan with GF ingredients). But she also ordered a Caesar salad without croutons - and found part of a crouton in it after eating half of it. We can’t blame anyone but ourselves, but I’d urge others with celiac to avoid this place. We haven’t found Maui to be easy for our daughter to eat safely.
