Hands down THE BEST gluten free pizza I’ve ever had. I just got a basic pepperoni pizza w/a side of marinara and Parmesan. It was close to closing time. It was 25 minutes home and gf pizza is rarely good as takeout but this was phenomenal!
Maurizio's is one of the best Italian restaurants in Williamsburg. I went there a few times a year. Recently, I developed a gluten sensitivity that makes my stomach very upset, so finding substitutions has been a struggle. However, at Maurizio's, most of the meals are "choose your own pasta" to go with the food of choice, which is usually gluten free (besides and occasional breaded chicken which you can substitute for an unbreaded chicken breast). That said, I ordered the Chicken Florentine (which is already an unbreaded chicken breast) and I ordered it with gluten free penne pasta. Although penne is the only gluten free pasta available, it was still very good. Overall, my experience was no different than before (except that I couldn't eat the complimentary garlic knots).
