I have eaten at Max’s a few times and everything was delicious. I felt very safe as the staff was very knowledgeable and the owner came over to reassure me that they take every precaution in the kitchen. He also said they can make most items on the menu, but they did not have GF buns/bread.
Me and my celiac brother had the gluten free penne vodka pasta it was really good and we felt fine after. They were out of gluten free buns for burgers
Excellent experience. My waiter was very knowledgeable about what was GF. He stated that most things are made fresh to order and can be made GF. I asked about a dish thinking that it was probably safe, but he informed that that it was not GF (since the gnocchi were dusted in flour beforehand). However, they had GF pasta available. And most things can be made GF. There was also one GF dessert on the menu that was DELICIOUS.(The regular menu was not marked GF except for the dessert menu ,so just talk to your waiter about options😁 )
