This cafe has naive staffing the online menu is not up to date. The food is overpriced and just ok. It's a small DUMP and when I mean small its the size of a walk-in closet. It's so small they have a table in the kitchen for customers. I'm very suspicious of the good reviews this cafe has received (like the the reviewers were bribed). So please heed my warning and go somewhere else in Issaquah. This town has several excellent restaurants to choose from.
Exceptional! Most dishes are naturally gluten free and OH MY GOSH delicious!! It's a bit pricey for lunch, but the portions are also bigger and the food is definitely worth it!!! Yum
Awesome place! My husband is a super sensitive celiac. We eat here on special occasions. The flavors are amazing. Can't wait to take my family when they visit next week. Owners are so welcoming. You'll feel like family. Try them!!!
Really delicious food- Edna was valedictorian of her graduating class at the Culinary Institute of America in NYC. She runs the kitchen- when I asked if a certain dish (kalbi beef) was gluten free she ran back to the kitchen to check her current soy sauce. Most of the dishes are naturally gluten free- the African chicken is especially delicious!
Edna, the head chef, researched the gluten aspects of her recipes and converted more than half of her menu to gluten-free at the request of a regular customer who was diagnosed. The dishes served here are truly world-class, and naturally gluten-free in many cases, being of the Goa region where wheat is not part of the normal cuisine. Edna is in the process of eliminating gluten from all of her dishes, including the fish and chips!
