When ordering with gluten free bread they all of it’s an allergy or a preference. They then change gloves and use different utensils. I’ve never had a problem at any of their locations.

I told the cashier numerous times that my wife has celiac. She told me it wouldn't be a problem. Within minutes of eating her potato, my wife was sick. I asked for a manager and was informed most of the employees aren't aware of gluten and that there is a risk of cross contamination. Not recommended for celiacs.

Salads and dressing were mostly all GF. I ordered the Savannah Salad which was listed in the GF menu - it came with blue cheese crumbles which are not technically GF (the blue is wheat mold, or so I've read). I've never had problems with blue cheese tho.
The chili and most of the stuffed potatoes were GF.
They didn't have a GF bread or offer lettuce wraps for the sandwiches. So it's just salad, chili or stuffed potatoes.
They did have a GF menu, but didn't realize that they did. It was stuffed in with the nutritional info book that they handed me.
Not much to offer.

They offer any of their sandwiches on GF bread for an upcharge. Check with their allergy listing sheet to see what sandwich fillings are GF. As far as I know, none of the soups are GF. Prices tend to be a bit high, so sign up for their app and get a discount.

Asked the gentleman behind the counter if the ranch was gluten free. He wasn’t sure, he then asked a lady in the kitchen area & these were the words I heard her tell him. “No! Nothing here is really gluten free”

Wonderful staff. Use Udi bread for any sandwich on menu. Have salads & potatoes but don't know about salad dressings. Will be a staple for take out & dine in. This was Beaumont, TX location.

This location of McAlister’s is the best! I eat here probably once a week and have never gotten sick! They have gf bread which isn’t bad. If you tell them it’s an allergy they won’t put it on the grill (cc). Their baked potatoes are also delicious! Love this place and feel very safe eating here.
