McDonald's

It was the first time I have had a McDonalds in over 20 years and was very impressed. I had a Big Mac which was really tasty and the bun was lovely. Couldn’t fault the food and the best part was it didn’t make me ill! But then they change their gloves when preparing the food and take allergens seriously.

Perfect! You can not only choose cheeseburger but also burgers like Big Mac etc. GF food is not available via order terminal or delivery but you can order at the counter. Nice!

The first McDonald’s I have visited with a gluten free menu! Can make most of the burgers with the gluten free bun which was a soft tasty bun which my boyfriend said tasted like a normal bun

Was a little skeptic about the idea of McDonald’s having gluten free stuff. I went in and had a chat saw all the gluten free signs in there and on the machine saying if your order is gluten free go to the front counter. Ordered a double cheese burger and large fries. Was bloody beautiful haven’t eaten that in for ever. So stoked no symptoms after the meal at all. Hopefully they might be able to roll out the GF burgers in Australia sometime soon.

They don't touch in your food while making them - it may result in your burger come not perfectly beautiful sometimes. They use Shar buns. A while he staff make your hamburger with gloves on it and never touch anything besides the outside of the box. They have 5 or 6 burger options. Most of the sauces are not gluten free. Sundaes are GF. Always a safe option. Burgers take more time to be made (15/20min +-)

We never get McDonald’s but when I found out Portugal had GF buns we had to try! It was great to have a quick food option on the go.
