Our server was pretty knowledgeable about celiac disease and cross contamination. I ordered the chicken sandwich which came fried but they can grill it for you witch they did but it came out alittle to dry for my liking. It comes with a hot Louisiana sauce that had a nice little heat from it. The sandwich comes with homemade chips but unfortunately its made in a shared fryer so I got a side salad which was really good. Over all I had a good experience.
I’ve been here twice and each time has been wonderful! This recent visit, I had a delicious Strawberry Burrata appetizer and a Summer Strawberry salad entree. The staff is knowledgeable and there are plenty of options for somebody that’s gluten free. GF bread for burgers/sandwiches, etc. I will always recommend this place to anyone who is visiting Long Branch.
I ate here for the first time a few days ago and I asked and made sure my food was gluten free and the waiter assured me it was. when our food came out after a few bites, I was sick to my stomach. I was very upset considering I waited almost an hour for my food and reiterated gluten free! long story short, just be careful there. I will definitely not be going back.
Kara, our waitress, was very helpful and quite knowledgeable about the menu. She even pointed out the GF and vegan symbols at her introduction. I ordered the French onion soup sans crouton and onion frisée and a burger on a GF bun. Initially, she said there were no substitutions for the non GF French fries but when I commented on that fact, she took it upon herself to speak to the manager who offered a very delicious GF Pier Salad in the side. Everything was delicious and Kara's fantastic service topped it off!
Did not have a GF menu or know about it, service slow. Food was poor quality and overprice. I would not go here.
