Food tasted good but I am very sick after eating here. Celiacs beware

Night ended in some puking unfortunately. My gf has celiac and went through the normal precautions and explained the situation to the staff. We thought with the good reviews it would have been simple but the waitress just seemed annoyed. Later on she had the telltale stomachache followed by a trip to the toilet. With that a pricey night of vacation down the toilet. I wouldn't recommend dining here for more severe celiac.

I asked if the chicken breast was gluten free. The waiter ran up to the cook to double check before I ordered. He came back and said that dish was standard GF. No GF menu but a family owned pub with a long tradition. I thoroughly enjoyed the food. It felt fresh and good.

Delicious food, didn't get sick. Had mussels, roasted chicken and salmon.
— Separate gluten-free menu
The waiter was extremely helpful and ensured all food was both gluten free and potatoes free. I ordered the pate which was delicious and I had gluten free toast with it. Potatoes left off main meal and had icecream for desert and no issues what so ever. If any cross contamination I would get very bad stomach cramps after or during the meal

Outstanding dinner! They were very careful to make sure my meal was gf. Even reassured me when they delivered my food. And the food was OUT OF THIS WORLD! Loved the oysters, steak, carrots, and mash. The crème brûlée was delicious as well!

We had dinner at McSwiggans when we visited Galway last month. The wait staff was extremely accommodating to my gluten sensitivity and shellfish allergy. I was able to enjoy dinner and dessert without any issues. We did visit on a Saturday night and wish someone had told us to make reservations, we waited about an hour for our table but the food was worth the wait!
Staff was extremely knowledgeable and most everything on the menu can be modified to GF. I got the stir fry vegetables and they were delicious!! Also two amazing desserts! Lovely place and great atmosphere and service!
