Really friendly owner who gave us some recommendations for good gluten free restaurants and even some in store recommendations. Was unusual (but amazing!) to be able to shop freely without checking every label, definitely a must visit if you’re ever in Venice!

Amazing grocery shop that is dedicated gf! We were hoping to find some pre packaged GF sandwiches but unfortunately did not. However, we bought GF fresh cannolis and these little desserts that looked like doughnut holes with filling and both were just amazing!! Great place and sweet owner.

just like the first reviewer said, they have really good packaged things, but I was so sad that I couldn’t get any of the things you have to cook/frozen items, because we didn’t have a fridge in the hotel lol! everything is gf, and the owner of the shop was super nice! there was also the CUTEST puppy there who belonged to him! he also gave me recommendations for gf restaurants and they were all amazing! if you’re ever in venice, go here!

Already been once as plan to go again before leaving. Supermarkets in Venice don’t offer many gf options so I’d recommend coming here. Paid 19 euro for 5 muffin from schar in a bag, box cookies, mini cannoli/croissants. The owner was very kind and offered restaurant suggestions for around Venice. Include this in your itinerary if possible!

This is a fully gluten free shop, however be mindful it is very small with a very limited selection. There is a selection of biscuits, pasta and some packaged pastries.

Wonderful establishment with a kind owner. Got a few bags of gf flour and boxes of pasta to bring home with me. Don’t skip the tiramisu in the fridge section!

Fully gluten free shop that provided options for my daughter to try some of the Venetian specialties to bring with us. Packaged cookies from Burano, gluten free black ink pasta (dry to cook at home, the BEST cannolis she has ever had from the refrigerated section. Schaer versions of some traditional Italian breads. My daughter was so happy! The shop owner was very helpful with suggestions for restaurants in the area. Limited hours.

Incredible gluten free store! The owner showed us items that were authentically Italian as well. We came away with quite a few items we could make some meals with. The directions on Apple Maps takes you to the wrong place, so refer to the picture I uploaded to help you get there.

A small but very well stocked GF food store — lots of pastas, packaged cookies/biscuits, crackers, Schar products (including a good number of refrigerated items & different Schar breads), and a few other categories (pots of tiramisu for example). No fresh baked foods and the owner confirmed there are no GF bakeries in Venice. Very friendly and helpful — offering suggestions for safe GF restaurants.

Very nice and helpful man who owns this store. He even gave us some suggestions for restaurants with gluten-free menus. The store itself was small, but still had a lot of options, especially cakes and sweet foods.

Fantastic shop that I quite accidentally stumbled across. Everything is gluten-free, and the selection was the best I’ve seen anywhere. Many dry, cold, and frozen foods available. I was able to have tortellini again for the first time in 6 years since being diagnosed with celiac! Very friendly owner, who also tipped me regarding which of the restaurants with GF options are reliably truly GF. Wish there was a place like this where I live!

Great selection of gluten free pastas, flour mixes, and other pre-packaged items, including frozen meals and local specialties like a Venetian fish spread. Also had a section with cake decorating materials. The man was lovely, and pointed us towards a place with GF options for lunch. Note, this is a (small) store rather than a place with bakery goods.

A great shop to buy specialty GF products such as pasta, crackers, cookies, etc. The shop owner is a native Venetian and is so nice and friendly. We bought some of the products she recommended and she wrote down GF restaurants recommendations for us. You should try to visit her shop to get the local perspective! Can’t wait to make the pasta back at home.

Must Visit!!!! She will guide you to the best tasting pizza pasta joints( serving GF) too. The owner is super helpful. The maximum choice of gluten free food ready to eat, frozen , savoury and sweet.

Small shop but has many things you won’t find elsewhere. Lots of delicious crackers, cookies, and even phyllo type pastries that are light and airy. Owner is very helpful (she and son are celiac) and even made recommendations for restaurants (AIC certifies).

Beautiful little shop. My wife and I showed up right as Azzurra was closing up but she let us right in and told us to take our time. She was over the top attentive and kind. Great selection of snacks and pastas, things I've never found in the U.S. Azzurra and her son are celiac so she knows her stuff as well as local restaurants that are not just gf but certified gf. There is a difference. She was the mastermind behind getting McDonald's to stock gf cheeseburgers and fries in Venice. She's a genius. Great place, great person, stop in if you know what's good for you!

Outstanding!! The owner was very attentive - knows his stuff from personal experience and even suggested restaurants not on this list. Have to grab an extra bag to take home things not available in the States. Had a prepared dish heated up - it was great for a snack on a very hot day. Gf Beer avail, but watch out it is the "gluten removed beer"

What a wonderful little find in Venice. The owners are just lovely and they have many awesome products to choose from. I stocked up on gluten-free bread while I was here so I could make myself sandwiches to take around the city while I was sightseeing. Definitely make the time to visit this place. They also gave me recommendations for where to eat that was gluten free friendly in Venice

Great service, good shop, able to buy some gf snacks and treats to last for the holiday and to take home. The owner was ever so nice and one of the friendliest people I have meet since in Venice. She marked up our map with the certified gf restaurants to try. Thank you very much!

An all GF market in Venice!!! Bread, breadsticks, pasta, pizza crusts, cereal, pretzels.... complete one-stop shop!The owner's son has Celiac and she was a great resource for our trip. She recommended several great restaurants for us while we were in Venice.
