I was quite disappointed in this place. After a look at the menu; allergies and dietary requirements were clearly marked. It looked professional and informed about food allergies and cross contamination.
The restaurant was cosy with a nature inspired feel to it.
I ordered the chicken thigh, and informed the staff about my celiac disease. It didn’t seem like the staff knew of celiac disease or what gluten was. I wanted to add a side of fries to my chicken and when I asked about the fryer situation the server had to ask the chef. The answer I got was that they use the same fryer for all and there would be a chance for cross contamination, even though it’s marked gluten free on the menu. The food was quite bland and lacked flavor.
Be aware of the high chance of cross contamination! The menu state that multiple dishes are gluten free, like the grilled octopus but since they don’t have a separate grill or space in the kitchen as well as their lack of knowledge with allergies I would not recommend this place.
