Breakfast was underwhelming, perhaps better location for sandwiches. NOLA breakfast platter wasn’t anything that couldn’t have been found in the frozen section, was served with moldy fruit.

This is a stand in the open part of the French market. I would not call this a “cafe”. Not the nicest setting. Glad we checked it out before we went there for breakfast.
Best gluten free food I've had in a VERY long time. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Able to answer questions on the spot without hesitation. If I lived closer I'd go broke eating the gluten free crab cake sandwich!

Such AMAZING food!! It was so great to have authentic New Orleans food that was safely gluten free. I wish I had more time to try more items on the menu! I had the shrimp poboy and it was fantastic. Absolutely recommend a stop!!

Me and my wife (both celiac) ate here everyday we were vacationing in New Orleans. It's a booth in an outdoor market, so we were hesitant regarding cross contamination, but they clearly take necessary precautions and reassured us it'd be safe. It's expensive, but I'd absolutely recommend - You can get real gluten free New Orleans food - Shrimp Po Boy, Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice, and some sandwiches with impossible meat. Felt nice to know we had a daily safe, fresh, healthy-ish option! Make sure to double check the hours - the market isn't open too late.

You have to get the crab cake passion (I ordered an extra crab cake because they where so good). My husband enjoyed the food too. James showed us what southern hospitality is all about!

Crab cake was good. Gumbo was alright too. I appreciate them being allergen friendly. Pretty pricey but it's worth being able to eat cajun food gluten free. Would absolutely recommend to anyone here

DOES NOT HAVE GLUTEN FREE BEIGNETS. Went bc they show up on this website as having them, but they do not. Crab tacos were good, but not worth the high price.

Crab cake and gumbo were really good! The red beans and rice had no flavor and I was disappointed in those, but overall a great experience!

We got the crab cake and shrimp po boy! Both delicious and the staff was very aware of GF. A little pricey and the po boy wasn’t traditional (GF bun instead of french bread or something similar) but it was still delicious!

Loved the crab cake! Maybe the highlight of my whole trip. Great beans and rice too. He was very attentive to allergies and put my food on a separate tray from my non-gf friends. Will go back here next time I’m in New Orleans for sure!

Had GF Crabcake. Just wanted a snack and was able to order just one crabcake served on a bed of lettuce. Hit the spot. Very tasty. Would definitely patronize again.

Little vendor place in French market with great gf and vegan items. (I’m not vegan) so many options and cheap $1 bottle of water as it’s hot right now! Had the gumbo! Yummy! They had breakfast items as well! The worker was SO NICE and amazing! Def support this business! Good people and great food!

Located in the French Market. Delicious VEGAN GLUTEN FREE gumbo! I can’t believe I can write that sentence! Meat and veggie options available. Super nice service. Gluten free bread available as a side. Very careful with precautions- I said gf, but didn’t specify celiac when I ordered the bread cautiously as a side, but he said- don’t worry you won’t get sick. And he was right :)

I had the gf crab cake “Poboy” (it’s a sandwich, but that’s fine), and it was delicious. It felt so nice to be able to eat at least something resembling a poboy as I remember them and love them. It’s spendy, but high quality.

The owner does an amazing job of making some fantastic Louisiana cuisine gluten free and vegan. They are happy to talk through the menu and accommodate any allergy as much as they can. I have been going here for years as my parents are local and I was born in Louisiana and I am so happy there is a gluten-free place in the French Market that accommodates my allergies and has fantastic gumbo and crab cakes! Don’t tell my grandma but his gumbo is better than hers!

This is maybe my fourth time to eat breakfast here. The food is so tasty and worth the little wait if they're busy. The staff is very knowledgable and even put GF bread with my meal. What a treat!!! Keep in mind it is at an outside space at the Market but there are plenty of places to sit and people watch while you eat!

I used to love this place so much, but the quality in service has seriously dropped. They're is no interacting with the staff as they just point you to a computer. We got 1 order of gf pancakes, two bottles of water, and two eggs, and it was over $30. We ordered that little because the computer system didn't allow for adding items onto items. It was weird.
Celiac friendly, knowledgeable about xcontamination. Fabulous service and staff. Great food. Hard to find but worth the effort. They're passionate about the food they serve. Family business.

Food is amazing! Bread and pancakes! They even have Gfree po’boys
Yes
They might have gluten free options but they DO NOT cook anything in separate places or even separate pans. All they do is wipe it off., which if you are celiac that’s a big NO NO. So absolutely not safe for celiac people.
No
It was a cute little place in the French market! It was very safe and had good options. The only reason I didn’t 5 star it is because I thought they could punch the flavor up. They also didn’t have beignets which was a disappointment. Overall though, safe Cajun food and totally worth the stop.

The younger gentlemen I spoke with discussed how they take allergies very seriously and they want people to feel good when eating their food
AMAZING, HIGH QUALITY, EXTREMELY FLAVORFUL FOOD. I ate the poached egg and crabcake special, which has their own homemade crabcake sauce and salad dressing. SO flavorful and tasty - I also had GF DF King Cake here!

MUST GO!! It was not what I was expecting but I am so glad I went. The food was amazing. Some of the best food I’ve had in NOLA for the whole week! They have GF crab cake tacos. Delicious!
Amazing food. Fresh ingredients. Best GF crab cakes poboy. Vegan options. Very helpful and staff regarding allergy/food sensitive folks.

So much love here. Everything is made to order and absolutely delicious. The GF chicken po boy yum yum yum. They take celiac seriously. Looking forward to next time

I have celiac and was so happy to find this place. I had pancakes, split the omelet and toast. All wonderful. James was very helpful when ordering, as it is a kiosk you place your order on.
Yes
They recently moved to a system where you order via a computer screen. I talked to the very knowledgable staff behind the counter and explained that I was celiac and vegan and asked her how to order as there was not options for both. She was very helpful and told me what I could have. She told me to select one and she would tell the kitchen. I selected gluten free gumbo since I consistantly worry about cross contamination, and verbally told her vegan. It's a long wait, but they warn you of that. When I got my meal, I saw chicken. I went back and asked, and the counter woman told me it was beyond meat. So I went back and sifted through my gumbo again and confirmed it was actual chicken. So I went back and they apologized and remade it. The counter employee actually went and added a gluten free and vegan gumbo option to the touchscreen after that. If I could give the girl at the counter 6 stars I would, but I am giving the whole place 4 because I didn't get sick, but I ended up waiting 90 minutes because they couldn't do it right the first time.
